I am so glad you are here.

My work with mothers began in 1999 as a childbirth educator and birth doula. Those early years gently shaped what would later become Newborn Mother Care. Over time, my heart was drawn more deeply into the postpartum season — the quiet, sacred weeks when a mother is healing, a newborn is adjusting, and a family is learning one another.

With decades of education and experience — including hospital-based postpartum and breastfeeding support — I now devote my work to guiding mothers through recovery with calm steadiness. I provide thoughtful, structured care that protects your rest, supports safe and responsive newborn practices, and helps you feel grounded and confident as you settle into motherhood.

As a postpartum professional and Certified HUG Your Baby Teacher, my care is rooted in evidence-based knowledge and delivered with warmth and reassurance. I believe mothers deserve both trustworthy guidance and gentle presence during this transformative time.

My love for this work began long before my credentials. As a teenager, I babysat for a local La Leche League leader and remember quietly observing mothers gathered with their babies — learning, listening, and supporting one another. Even then, I understood how powerful compassionate guidance can be.

Today, as a grandmother, I bring a depth of lived experience to the families I serve. My care blends seasoned wisdom with current research, offering you support that feels both steady and nurturing.

Newborn Mother Care is devoted to providing expert postpartum guidance infused with grandmotherly affection and respectful, unbiased support. My approach is intentional and tender — honoring these early days so that you and your baby begin with confidence, calm, and the reassurance that you are not alone.

Please feel free to ask about my professional training and ongoing education. I believe families deserve support that is both nurturing and informed by current research.

My grandson, whom I have had the deep honor of raising since birth, is one of my greatest joys. Together we spend our days in homeschool co-ops, nature school, wandering the zoo and museums, enjoying the performing arts, and hiking quiet trails that invite curiosity and connection. As a grandmother welcoming a brand-new little one into my life, I vividly remember those sleepless nights and the long, tender days of exhaustion. In those early years, my heart was focused on bonding, nurturing, and building his growing brain through love and presence. I have been where you are — and I am here to gently support you every step of the way. Enjoy this early time with your baby.💛
